Crafters Canvass is a 'create change' community that started to take shape in late 2017. The site provides an open invitation and an online platform for social & political justice crafters, activists and natural born helpers from around the world.
Post the election in 2016 a seismic shift in US leadership threw many of us for a loop. Around the world crafters, artisans & makers drew on that energy, soothed & provoked, moved to action, and garnered support young to old.
This site has had a couple different iterations of what you'll discover within its pages today. 2022 forward the goals are to get craftivist projects added to the map, along with encouraging craftivism via an increased online presence.
