Since the 2016 seismic shift in US leadership, chaos ruled, lies flourished. A less than stellar "surprise" pandemic response threw many of us for a loop. 

Around the world, crafters, artisans, and makers drew on that energy. They soothed, provoked, moved to action, and garnered support from the young to the old.

From 2017 to 2023 and beyond, Crafters Canvass aims to achieve the following goals: 1) To build a noteworthy global directory of craftivism projects & events. 2) To grow our online presence, promoting our mission to a wider audience.

So let us celebrate craftivists and their invaluable contributions. Let us recognize their power to ignite hope, to foster resilience, and to remind us that, even in the face of adversity, beauty and kindness endure. May their hands continue to shape a world where love, compassion, and creativity reign supreme.
